About the Role

FleishmanHillard, a leading global communications agency, is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Strategic Planner. This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams on corporate positioning and reputation, crisis situations, issues management, executive positioning, and high-level media relations for our global clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to create compelling plans and proposals that converge all aspects and capabilities of our agency group and beyond.
  • Collaborate with client counselors to develop integrated, multi-platform marketing campaigns and communications strategies in response to clients' briefs.
  • Effectively communicate strategic plans and insights to internal client counselors and external key stakeholders.
  • Act as a strategic partner to clients, understanding their business challenges, and provide insight-based strategic POV of the agency's offerings to clients.
  • Apply research findings to form creative concepts and communications strategies that help clients uncover business opportunities and optimize performance.
Requirements
  • Proficient in English in day-to-day business communication.
  • A minimum of 10 years of business experience, and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in integrated campaign planning and strategy, market research, or a similar role within an agency or consulting environment.
  • Experience in the Automotive and/or Consumer Technology industries is a plus.
  • A proven track record in helping brands to achieve successful integrated, multi-platform marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on developing and executing strategic plans that have led to measurable business impact.
  • Strong familiarity with market research tools and methodologies.
  • A deep understanding of the Japanese market and multicultural markets and the ability to craft strategies that effectively engage diverse audiences.
  • Must be prepared and able to operate with a global lens.
  • A university degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, business, or related fields.
  • An energetic, self-starter, and resourceful problem solver.
  • A high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
