Job Summary:

PVH is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planner to join our team. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing annual financial plans, forecasting business performance, and managing inventory to support updated forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Season Planning:

  • Develop and maintain annual financial plans, utilizing historical performance, trend analysis, and input from merchant partnerships.
  • Partner with merchant teams to review quarterly purchase plans and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Coordinate inventory management between Direct Retail and E-Commerce teams.
  • Prepare final fiscal plans for signoff from senior management.

In-Season Tactical Adjustments:

  • Prepare and present reports on E-Commerce KPIs and business performance, providing qualitative feedback and action recommendations.
  • Forecast sales, margin, and inventory at a department level, and reforecast financial projections based on changes in business strategies and receipt flow.
  • Partner with allocation teams to ensure merchandise allocation supports departmental needs.
  • Meet with cross-functional teams to review business performance and provide financial information at a department level.
  • Simulate different scenarios to support changes in business strategies and assess risk of sales, margin, and inventory position.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and self-motivation.
  • Knowledge of forecast/planning systems, inventory management, sales, and purchasing.
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel and Word.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English.

Overall Impact & Contribution:

This role will provide input into the function or business's operational plan in support of overall strategy.

Problem Solving:

Problems and issues are well-defined and within the job area or department.

The role will require negotiation and convincing of Operation and Buying teams on Open-To-Buy plans.
