Senior Business Development Manager

As a key member of our team, you will report to the Head of Segment & Product Management and be responsible for formulating strategies to improve the quality and profitability of our high net worth segments. You will lead the team to support the growth of our DSB VIP Banking portfolio by implementing effective business and marketing plans to deliver business performance in terms of customer base growth, AUM, banking relationships, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement acquisition, growth, and retention strategies for high net worth customers to achieve business targets and enhance customer experience.
- Analyze customer behavior and needs, referencing market research and customer profiles, to propose actionable initiatives for customer acquisition, cross-selling, service upgrades, customer loyalty enhancement, and retention.
- Liaise closely with product and channel teams to cross-sell suitable products and services to meet target customers' needs, and eventually uplift profitability of the high net worth segments.
- Plan, implement, and monitor sales activities, marketing campaigns, and customer events, conducting evaluations and reviews to ensure efficient use of approved marketing budgets.
- Collaborate with counterparts to drive the development of user-friendly and cost-effective sales and service platforms to improve customer experience at various touch points.
- Provide guidance and coaching to subordinates to ensure they are competent to perform their jobs.
- Support marketing and loyalty programs for private banking segments.
- Degree holder or above in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in prestige customer segment marketing, and in the banking field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and attentive to details.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
