Senior Business Development Manager

Your Role:
- Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities for the Smart Charge service, including partnerships, collaborations, and new market expansion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer segments, and industry trends.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including electric vehicle manufacturers, charging infrastructure providers, government agencies, and other relevant organizations.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing models, contract terms, and service offerings that align with market demands.
- Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Stay updated with industry regulations and policies related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management and potential partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to establish a strong presence and network with potential partners and clients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing and promotional strategies to support business development objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience in business development or a similar role within the electric vehicle or clean energy industry.
- Strong knowledge of the electric vehicle market, charging infrastructure, and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and make data-driven business decisions.
- Proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as required.
