Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Systems Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our database infrastructure to ensure seamless data management and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement database systems to support business applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new business initiatives, ensuring database infrastructure meets evolving business needs.
  • Develop and maintain database performance reports, providing insights to optimize system efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure database systems comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining the highest level of security and data integrity.
  • Evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance database performance, scalability, and security.
  • Participate in disaster recovery drills and business continuity planning to ensure seamless operations in the event of a disaster.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in database administration.
  • Professional certifications in database administration, such as OCP or MCSE, are highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g/12c, MS SQL 2012/2016, and other database management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese, with a strong command of written and spoken language.
