Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting FWD Life Insurance Database Infrastructure from design through implementation, ongoing management, and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve Database System issues.
- Assist in the implementation of databases to support business applications.
- Ensure the Database System infrastructure meets compliance and security requirements.
- Evaluate new products or services and suggest changes to existing products or services to enhance operations.
- Assist in conducting DR Drill and BCP process.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent with more than 3 years of database administration experience.
- Holder of professional qualification(s) preferred, e.g., OCP and MCSE(Database Platform).
- At least 3-5 years hands-on experience in database administration with Oracle 11g/12c, MS SQL 2012/2016.
- Proficient in database design and problem-solving of database problems.
- Able to work independently, self-motivated, and willing to take challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of written English and Chinese; fluent in spoken English.
