Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales Officer to join our team at nextRoles. As a key member of our Customer Development team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through data analytics, building strong customer relationships, and experimenting with innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales and business plans for business accounts to achieve company goals in terms of sales volume, space, product assortment, and promotion targets.
  • Communicate the technical superiority, practical application, and commercial benefits of our products to customers.
  • Ensure that nextRoles is the strategic partner of choice in the pet nutrition industry.
  • Develop and execute customer service and promotion plans that respond competitively to customer needs and align with overall sales and marketing plans.
  • Maintain close contact with key decision-makers to develop and maintain excellent relationships between the company and customers.
  • Identify potential new accounts and develop and implement account penetration plans.
  • Monitor sales objectives and identify opportunities for business development and implement plans for remedial action where necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and report on new activity.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Pharmaceuticals, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
  • Previous sales experience in field sales, veterinary industry, FMCG, pharmaceutical company, or nutrition company with a minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Familiarity with the pet food business is a plus.
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn company-specific tools and programs.
  • Fluent in English and valid driver's license required.
Expected Skills
  • Strong account management and customer development skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage sales plan execution.
  • Good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills (internal and external, all levels).
  • Skill set to develop RE strategy and action plans based on deep understanding of respective REs, customers, shoppers, and category.
  • Leadership skills to enable cross-functional collaboration to develop and deliver robust commercial plans to support KAC eCommerce.
  • Multi-function capacity and flexibility to deal with ambiguous situations.
