Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new index data products that meet client demands and market trends.
- Conduct thorough market analysis and evaluate new models to stay ahead of the competition.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new products, creating engaging content and providing valuable market insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, researching new indexing and passive investment strategies, asset classes, and financial markets.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, informing the design of products that meet their expectations.
- Identify potential partners and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Promote new capabilities and capabilities across asset classes as they become available.
- Deliver compelling presentations and papers to secure investment and support for product initiatives.
- Work effectively with various teams, including IT, Research, Sales, and Operations.
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree or equivalent.
- At least 10 years of experience in financial data business, research, or relevant fields.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools, as well as third-party software products.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong and China equity markets, with a good understanding of investment strategies.
- Research and/or Product Development experience.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, with high agility and a self-starter attitude.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
