As a **Linux Operations Engineer**, you will engage with the essential infrastructure that supports the firm's technological framework. On any given day, your responsibilities may include troubleshooting kernel performance, creating management tools, or addressing production challenges in real-time. Tackling complex systems issues is our forte.

Our ongoing initiatives emphasize **deployment automation**, **scalable configuration management**, and meticulous monitoring. We strive to automate as much of our tasks as possible—not out of laziness, but because we believe that automation minimizes errors and alleviates our workload, all while being an enjoyable endeavor.

Candidate Profile

We are in search of **Systems Programmers and Administrators** who possess a profound understanding of Unix internals and the Linux environment. Ideal candidates should be eager to learn OCaml, our preferred programming language, and meet the following criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Effective communication skills, coupled with the ability to analyze and dissect technical challenges efficiently
  • In-depth knowledge of operating system principles, particularly Linux
  • Proficiency with the Unix command line and shell scripting
  • Hands-on experience with contemporary Linux systems and systems programming concepts such as C, sockets, virtual memory, and process lifecycle
  • Basic familiarity with network protocols
  • Strong diagnostic skills and experience with profiling/debugging tools like gdb, perf, DTrace, or SystemTap
  • Programming experience in any language (functional languages are advantageous)
  • Fluency in English is essential
