Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Research and Enablement Manager to join our Digital Banking Team. The ideal candidate will lead the development of design research and facilitation capabilities, driving business outcomes through customer-centric product enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and grow the Design Research and Facilitation discipline, collaborating with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop strategic solutions.
  • Advocate for customer insights generation, prioritizing product enhancements based on research and analysis to inform the strategy and roadmap for the team.
  • Provide product vision from a holistic perspective, connecting research and various teams to deliver best-in-class experiences for customers.
  • Foster collaboration among stakeholders to understand problem root causes, shape product visions, strategies, and roadmaps from a customer perspective, inspiring new ideas and positioning the bank at the forefront of experience design.
  • Work with designers to ensure cohesive and coherent customer experiences, driving strategic initiatives in partnership with design leadership.
  • Guide team members through end-to-end research processes, defining better research practices for efficient and effective project execution.
  • Nurture an inclusive atmosphere promoting collaboration between teams, providing constructive feedback, coaching, mentoring, and elevating team members to drive growth and development.
  • Manage external vendor relationships, ensuring consistent deliverables aligned with design research/UIUX design standards.
  • Champion Design Operations excellence, refining operational best practices, strengthening feedback and learning loops, and devising long-term design operations strategies.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in research and UX-related fields, with 3+ years of management experience overseeing researchers and operation managers.
  • Ability to demonstrate how research helps businesses address their needs while advocating for customers and balancing stakeholder needs.
  • Self-starter with strong executive presence, keen sense of ownership, and passion for delivering results, as well as collaborative leadership and work style.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey insights and actions to senior business stakeholders, including the C-suite, fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Expert understanding of research methodologies, frameworks, and design tools, with deep knowledge of design principles, trends, and working knowledge of design and prototype tools.
  • Able to demonstrate critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and detail-driven approach.
  • Experience in managing external research vendors and projects, with a great sense of ownership and responsibility for assuring quality.
About This Opportunity

This role offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, pension plan, and generous paid time off.
