Strategic Growth Leader for High Net Worth Banking

In this role, you will report to the Head of Segment & Product Management, formulating strategies to enhance the quality and profitability of high net worth segments at the Bank. You will lead your team to drive the growth of the DSB VIP Banking portfolio by implementing effective business and marketing plans, focusing on customer base expansion, asset under management (AUM), banking relationships, and profitability. This position covers segment management for high net worth customers in retail banking and private banking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute acquisition, growth, and retention strategies for high net worth customers, aiming to achieve business targets and improve customer experience.
- Analyze customer behavior and needs based on market research and customer profiles, proposing actionable initiatives aligned with the defined value proposition of strategic sub-segments for customer acquisition, cross-selling, service upgrade, customer loyalty enhancement, and retention.
- Closely collaborate with product and channel teams to cross-sell suitable products and services meeting target customers' needs holistically, ultimately uplifting profitability of high net worth segments.
- Plan, implement, and monitor sales activities, marketing campaigns, and customer events, conducting evaluations and reviews. Ensure efficient use of approved marketing budgets.
- Work collectively with counterparts to develop user-friendly and cost-effective sales and service platforms, enhancing customer experience across various touchpoints.
- Provide guidance and coaching to subordinates as required to ensure they are competent in performing their jobs.
- Support marketing and loyalty programs for private banking segments.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in prestige customer segment marketing, and in banking fields.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and attentive to details.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
The estimated salary for this role is HK$700,000 - HK$1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
