Talent Acquisition Leader for North Asia

A Key Role in Shaping Our Future
About the Job:
- Lead the full recruitment life cycle across all levels of hiring for North Asia markets (Hong Kong, Macau, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea) ensuring a smooth candidate experience from pre-employment to onboarding.
- Collaborate with country HR or Talent Acquisition teams to understand and support local hiring needs, aligning with labor market trends and business requirements.
- Work closely with line managers and business leaders to understand job requirements and adjust recruitment strategies to meet local business needs.
- Manage regional recruitment databases, maintaining accurate data management, documentation, and analysis for continuous process improvements.
- Monitor regional recruitment status, providing timely advice and support to ensure quality and timely hires across North Asia.
- Develop and implement Employer Branding and Sourcing strategies leveraging social media platforms and partnerships with regional universities to drive internship programs and talent pipelines.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures with local employment laws and practices, collaborating with country HR teams.
- Act as a regional HR business partner between HQ HR and Country HR, offering consultation and guidance on talent acquisition issues and challenges.
- Compile reports on regional recruitment status, turnover rates, and exit interviews, providing insights to the regional HR team.
- Foster employee relations and promote company culture by developing talent engagement initiatives and retention strategies.
- Support regional HR projects and ad hoc assignments as required.
About You:
- Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 6-10 years of relevant supervisory experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a regional role covering North Asia or APAC markets.
- Experience working with country HR or TA teams to support local hiring needs.
- Experience in the hospitality or service industry is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of employment regulations and labor laws across North Asia.
- Cross-border employment practices and visa regulations knowledge is an advantage.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented approach for data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure with excellent time management.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Chinese word processing.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Japanese or Korean language skills are a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the North Asia region as required.
