Commercial Banking - Corporate Client Services

HSBC's Commercial Banking division offers tailored, comprehensive financial solutions to our corporate clientele, ranging from emerging small and medium enterprises to publicly traded corporations.

For clients operating locally or globally, we provide an extensive suite of services, including corporate lending, trade finance, receivables management, structured loans, cash management, investment services, treasury solutions, insurance, and digital banking. As a trusted financial partner, we address the unique business requirements of our clients and deliver efficient, customized banking solutions through our relationship managers and specialized teams.

We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as Relationship Manager, CRE Relationship Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate a comprehensive strategy for the Commercial Real Estate sector that aligns with the Bank's overarching objectives, considering emerging opportunities, market dynamics, and associated risks to guide strategic decisions.
  • Oversee and manage risks within the Commercial Real Estate portfolio by continuously monitoring and evaluating portfolio performance, identifying potential risks, and implementing effective risk management strategies.
  • Cultivate and manage a portfolio of corporate banking clients with the goal of strengthening and expanding relationships.
  • Meet various individual business objectives and contribute to overall team success.
  • Prepare credit proposals and authorize credit facilities within the scope of discretionary authority.
  • Conduct regular assessments and take proactive measures to maintain credit quality.
  • Promote a full spectrum of banking products to clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields, with a strong interest in advancing sustainable finance initiatives.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in lending, relationship management, or sustainable finance.
  • Proven success in loan syndication with extensive market connections, particularly within the Greater China market.
  • Capability to implement strategic initiatives to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Proficient in collaborating with multiple stakeholders, influencing, and operating effectively in a complex organizational structure.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.
  • High level of customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service quality.
