Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Go-To-Market Manager to join our team at Microsoft. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Advocacy
    • Act as a primary product spokesperson and advocate, leveraging your knowledge of the product, industry, market, and competitive landscape to develop localized competitive strategies and position the value proposition.
    • Provide guidance to sales teams on customer engagements and share expertise to guide partners.
  • Business Management
    • Build and drive business strategy, tracking the efficacy of plans to drive sustainable growth within and beyond the boundaries of the fiscal year.
    • Accept accountability for scorecard metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) across products/services or across the business.
    • Drive a One Microsoft approach with key stakeholders to alignment and leadership around strategic priorities and orchestration efforts across the subsidiary to deliver against priorities.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Planning, and Delivery
    • Create and orchestrate strategic go-to-market (GTM) plans for assigned lines of business across sales, marketing, consulting, customer success, and partner functions, supporting One-Microsoft, cross-functional execution as appropriate.
    • Collaborate with Global Partner Solution (GPS) to guide and support the execution of programs to recruit and enable partners to achieve target capacity and quality.
  • Field Enablement
    • Partner with sales teams to land field enablement accountability and serve as an orchestrator between the business and areas/subsidiaries to develop and land sales programs.
    • Provide thought leadership and clarity to coach and equip the team, channel, and sellers with the knowledge, skills, and resources to sell.
  • Business Development
    • Support the creation and pursuit of whitespace growth opportunities across products/services, leveraging knowledge of revenue, share targets, and the area/subsidiary's capabilities to develop strategies that maximize performance.
    • Build relationships and drive regular engagements with relevant stakeholders to operationalize competitive strategies and land implementation of solutions that drive strategic impact and increased market share for Microsoft and partners.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • 8+ years of marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex organization.
