About the Role

As a key member of our Preface team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education technology. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our growing company.

In this dynamic position, you will be responsible for supporting the full talent life cycle, including recruiting, compensation and benefits, learning and development, HR operations, employee engagement, and more.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting recruitment efforts, including coordinating with hiring managers, designing vacancies, preparing job openings, and reviewing and screening candidates.
  • Participating in employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including HR documentation, access management, and other related administrative tasks.
  • Handling all aspects of payroll for both F&B and office staff, including expenses claims, leave management, payroll slips, and MPF administration.
  • Providing People Services to all staff and supporting the wider People Team's project works as required, including identifying improvement opportunities and implementing better solutions.

You will also be responsible for managing the HR system implementation, maintenance, enhancement, and data management, as well as coordinating with different teams for company events.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, who can work independently and as part of a team. Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related disciplines;
  • 1-2 years working experience in HR & Administrative functions, experience in startup is an advantage;
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance, and other Human Resources related statutory regulations;
  • Knowledge and previous use of HR systems (BambooHR preferred)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, positive, self-motivated and excellent attention to details
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
