Human Resources Manager for Private Equity Firm

About the Role: Our client, a leading private equity firm based in Hong Kong, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day HR operations for both HK and Singapore offices
  • Provide comprehensive HR support, including policy development, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with labour laws and regulations for both locations
  • Lead the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding new hires, and develop effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, developing and implementing employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs, supporting employees in their career growth and development
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives, providing regular reports to senior management

Requirements: We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist functions, recruitment, and employee lifecycle management, is required. Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices in Hong Kong and Singapore is essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organization skills, and attention to detail are also necessary. Proven ability to build strong relationships with employees and senior leadership is vital. Experience in a private equity or financial services environment is highly desirable.
