Job Description

The Assistant High Performance Administration Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the High Performance Administration Manager, overseeing various aspects of elite training programmes and initiatives.

  • To contribute to the development and implementation of elite training programmes, providing valuable input and support to elite athletes.
  • To collaborate with Elite Coaching Departments in designing and executing high-performance objectives and strategies.
  • To manage the administration and funding of Elite Coaching Departments, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to value-for-money principles.
  • To coordinate programme planning and resource allocation with National Sports Associations (NSAs).
  • To maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on the Elite Vote Support System for elite sports.
  • To administer Direct Financial Support schemes for athletes and funding programmes for NSAs under HKSI's system.
  • To facilitate communication and collaboration between internal departments and external organizations in support of elite sports and athletes.

Requirements

  • A university degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a related role or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient command of English and Chinese language, both spoken and written.
  • High level of computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with child protection in sports and equal opportunity issues in Hong Kong is an added advantage.
