ROLE OVERVIEW

Oversee a team responsible for the creation, processing, and management of purchase orders. Cultivate and manage vendor relationships and contracts across multiple departments, including Group Technology and Group Customer & Omnichannel. Implement the vendor management framework across all IT functions, including Group Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity. Negotiate contracts to achieve optimal pricing and collaborate with the IT Vendor Management Lead on purchasing decisions. Ensure alignment across departments and promote standardized practices throughout the organization. Develop and execute IT Vendor Management strategies that align with corporate IT objectives. Provide guidance and support for the procure-to-pay process within the Technology team and local markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the complete internal procurement process for IT vendors, working closely with Group Finance and Procurement Departments, including vendor sourcing, contract renewals, tender calls, negotiations, and procurement order issuance. Facilitate regular collaborative meetings with vendors and business units to track, measure, and report on vendor performance against service level agreements. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, comparing offers to ensure the best fit. Maintain all relevant contracts and non-disclosure agreements with vendors, ensuring they are signed, stored centrally, and reviewed annually. Foster relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services within the Group Technology framework. Oversee vendor processes to ensure compliance with the Vendor Management Policy. Identify areas for internal improvement and collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions. Participate in the formulation and review of workflow processes and policies related to vendor management, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and assess potential risks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a focus on purchase order management. Proficient in procurement software and systems. Strong background in relationship management and third-party management best practices. Extensive experience managing end-to-end contract processes within the financial services industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS

In-depth understanding of procurement principles, including sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation. Familiarity with contractual language and contract law, enabling the drafting of clear and enforceable contractual obligations while identifying potential risks. Ability to manage complex contracts independently. Strong proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills across all levels of the organization. Proficient in numerical data analysis.
