Installation Supervisor

Alstom is seeking a skilled Installation Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of electrical systems and mechanical fixing on our transportation infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with design documentation and Supervisor Installation orientation/instruction
- Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and maintenance of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
- Ensure collective protections are in place, and alert the Installation Supervisor and/or Project Site Manager whenever any deviation to rules or risk is identified
- Confirm installation execution readiness (man, machines, material, method)
- Ensure installation activities are performed without deviations, following design, methods, and quality standards
- Report and alert the hierarchical superior if any risk, deviations, or issues are identified during the installation activities that may impact the safety, the quality and/or the work performance
- Apply the method statement/installation procedures according to design documentation or report on any deviation needed. Make sure the EHS requirements are clearly and followed
- Manage the team for performing a task in a work location: review up to date documentation, verify tools, verify skills and train worker if required, verify availability of material and equipment for the team to perform the tasks required, make sure access is given for performing the work, etc...
- Perform reports as per request to the Installation Supervisor and/or Project Site Manager: daily progress report, survey report, anomaly report, EHS report, preparation of Handover report, etc...
- Ensure compliance of Installation activities with D&IS Installation and FO Process
- 4 years of above experience in installation of electrical system or mechanical fixing
- Experience in railway industry is preferred, but not essential
- Holder of Electrician "A" from EMSD is an advantage
- Proficient in Cantonese and some basic English
- Driving project cars (7 seats vehicles) will be required for those who obtained valid driving license (No. 1 & 2)
- Willing to work at night shifts and site works (This position is a full-time night work position.)
