Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Data Analytics will lead and manage the daily operations of the data analytics team, performing complex and advanced business analytics. This role will provide high-quality strategic and tactical recommendations to internal stakeholders across different departments, driving business growth and profitability. The successful candidate will deploy leading-edge data analytics infrastructure for MI and data visualization, promoting a data-driven culture across departments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop data visualization, gathering business requirements and ensuring smooth adoption of analytics for timely and insight-based decision-making.
  2. Conduct in-depth analysis of customer and distribution channel data to identify opportunities for business development, customer acquisition, cross-selling, upselling, retention, and maximizing customer value.
  3. Develop a comprehensive and efficient framework for end-to-end business analytics and data visualization, establishing processes to effectively manage business and visual analytics activities.
  4. Establish and maintain a robust infrastructure for data analytics, ensuring the utilization of cutting-edge techniques. Work closely with IT and stakeholders to ensure the data infrastructure is efficient, scalable, secure, and easily accessible.
  5. Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and technology providers to explore and implement innovative solutions that meet the organization's data needs, enabling the organization to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
  6. Work closely with the IT department to ensure the security, scalability, and integration of data solutions with existing systems and infrastructure.
  7. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer demands to anticipate future digital opportunities and proactively recommend data initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Degree holder in Computer Science, Decision Science, Mathematics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, Marketing Analytics, or Statistics.
  2. Master degree in relevant disciplines will be a plus.
  3. 12+ years of relevant experience in predictive analytics, data science, or related quantitative fields.
  4. Expert knowledge in different analytic techniques, including SAS, Python, Qlik, and Power BI.
  5. Proficient in translating complex business requirements into tangible analytics tasks, as well as connecting the dots among different analytics projects to drive impact and efficiency.
  6. Strong track record in developing and executing data analytics use cases for new tools and technologies. Solid hands-on experiences in decision modeling, predictive analytics, advanced analytics, as well as data infrastructure development.
  7. A team player who can work effectively with both technical and business users.
  8. Passionate about the use of data in everyday decision making, driving the acquisition and integration of new data sources as well as new tools and technologies.
  9. A self-starter, with strong business acumen, problem-solving skill, and resilience in delivering the highest standard of efficiency and effectiveness.
  10. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  11. Knowledge in insurance and financial services is highly preferred.
