At Manulife, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analytics Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Data Analytics team, you'll play a vital role in uncovering insights that drive business growth and inform strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business value
  • Design and execute analytics use cases, deliverables, and KPIs that meet business objectives
  • Present complex analytical findings and insights to stakeholders through interactive dashboards and presentations
  • Work with IT and data architecture teams to extract and analyze granular data, support data governance, and migrate data platforms
  • Streamline manual processes using the latest data analytics technologies, including PowerBI, Power Automate, and Power Apps
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis with short turnaround times
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics and data development, preferably in the insurance and financial sector
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data-driven solutions, from data exploration to final visualization and insight sharing
  • Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, Microsoft Excel/VBA, Python programming, and familiar with Spark/PySpark/Databricks/Hive
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure and GCP
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills, with a self-initiative, proactive, and can-do attitude
  • Good knowledge of data governance and data quality principles
  • Ability to learn new analytics and visualization tools/technologies
