About Us:

HKMC Annuity Limited is a leading insurance company seeking an experienced Strategic Security Consultant to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Strategic Security Consultant with extensive experience in information security and risk management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic guidance on IT solutions and systems, conducting security assessments, and developing effective risk mitigation strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • To Provide Professional Security Advisory: We seek a consultant who can provide professional security advisory services on IT solutions and systems from a risk perspective.
  • Security Risk Assessment: Conduct security and cloud risk assessment on systems and/or technical controls to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities, and to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with other subject matter experts on security assessment and oversee penetration testing and threat intelligence simulation attack.
  • Incident Handling Management: Provide support and timely advice for IT incident handling management.
  • Security Policies and Operations Process: Review and update security policies and operations process periodically for security control enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Degree Qualification: Degree holder in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, Risk Management or equivalent.
  • Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of information security, security risk or related disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Regulatory Environment: Familiar with regulatory environment of insurance or financial services industry, in particular of IT related requirements.
  • Cloud Security Expertise: In-depth understanding of cloud security principles and best practices, with experience in securing cloud environments (e.g. Azure & AWS).
  • Application Security Knowledge: Solid understanding of application security, including secure coding practices, vulnerability assessment and secure deployment methodologies.
  • Leadership and Certification: Proven track record in leading and implementing successful information security initiatives programs; Relevant certification e.g., CISSP, CISA, OSCP, CEH, ISO 27001, NIST or equivalent, is an advantage.

About the Role:

The estimated salary for this position is around $200,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
