Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for an accomplished Application Security Evangelist who can translate complex security concepts into actionable insights for our development teams. As a Senior Application Security Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in improving and maintaining secure development standards, managing application security framework improvement projects, and integrating security tools, standards, and processes into our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

  • Translate Security Concepts: Communicate intricate security ideas to developers, fostering a culture of security awareness within our organization.
  • Secure Development Standards: Develop and maintain robust security standards, ensuring our applications meet the highest levels of security requirements.
  • Application Security Frameworks: Manage projects aimed at enhancing our application security frameworks, staying abreast of emerging threats and technologies.
  • Security Tools Integration: Integrate security tools, standards, and processes into our SDLC, ensuring seamless security testing and validation throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to developers on essential security knowledge, empowering them to perform their daily activities with confidence.
  • Metric Reporting: Produce regular metrics on the state of our application security programs and performance of development teams against security requirements.
  • Vendor Security: Collaborate with vendors to ensure third-party software and development meets our stringent security standards.
  • Incident Response: Support incident response and architecture review processes, leveraging your expertise to drive informed decision-making.
  • Third-Party Accountability: Hold third-party developers accountable for code quality, upholding our high standards of security.
  • Threat Modeling: Integrate threat modeling practices into our product lifecycle, proactively identifying potential vulnerabilities.
  • Design Reviews: Conduct comprehensive design reviews and prioritize all application security issues, driving continuous improvement.
  • Test-Driven Design: Provide security requirements for test-driven design, ensuring our applications are built with security in mind.
  • Penetration Testing: Partner with third parties to deliver penetration testing services, strengthening our application security posture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Over 5 years' experience in IT Application Security and Risk Management.
  • Strong technical or security skills related to IT applications and infrastructure.
  • Solid experience in cyber security controls and incident handling.
  • Good knowledge of Companying environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Fintech desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations/guidelines relating to cyber security and technology risk management.
  • Strong self-motivation, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin an advantage.
  • Possess at least two professional qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, and OSCP.
  • Experience in web and mobile application development/penetration testing preferred.
  • Experienced in performing security risk assessments and audits based on industry standards.
  • Familiar with various cybersecurity-related frameworks such as ISO 27001 ISMS, CIS CSC (CIS Critical Security Controls), and NIST Cyber Security Framework.
