Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all accounting and financial activities in one of our operating entities, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements.
  2. Provide strategic advice to management on finance and operational development, facilitating review of business performance and effectiveness of operation.
  3. Prepare and submit monthly, interim and annual group financial reporting packages to Hong Kong Head Office.
  4. Prepare budgets, management reports, and other ad hoc reports.
  5. Monitor and improve financial controls in compliance with Group Policy.
  6. Coordinate with external auditors to complete the interim and annual audit.
  7. Deal with various government officials regarding regulatory & compliance issues, including tax, accounting & foreign exchange matters.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Member of HKICPA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience in listed/sizable organizations, with Mainland work experience essential.
  • Experience in big four CPA firms is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of mainland China operations, GAAPs, tax, and relevant statutory rules and regulations.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua is a must.
  • Required to station in the Mainland.
