The successful candidate will have a high-level comprehension of regulatory frameworks, excellent analytical and research skills, and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear and actionable deliverables. They will be responsible for managing relationships with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless licensing applications and ongoing compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Licensing Applications: Coordinate and manage the submission of regulatory licensing applications, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met for timely approval.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain ongoing compliance with licensing conditions by monitoring changes in regulations and updating licenses as required.
  • Liaison with Regulators: Serve as the main point of contact between the organization and regulatory authorities, facilitating communication and responding to queries related to licensing matters.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., risk management, compliance, legal, finance, technology) to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements as part of licensing applications.
  • Document Management: Organize and maintain comprehensive records of all regulatory licenses, filings, and communications to ensure full traceability and accessibility during audits or inspections.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Previous professional experience (ideally minimum of 3 years) in regulatory advisory, compliance, policy, or legal in the financial services industry (for example, within a financial institution or consulting firm providing such services)
  • A strong understanding of the Company's platform and products and services is required
  • Knowledge of the cryptocurrency / blockchain space is a plus
  • Project management qualification is a plus, but not essential

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience
