Job Description: Social Media Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Executive to oversee our company's presence on multiple public platforms. The ideal candidate will create engaging content, analyze public feedback, and report on the effectiveness of our social media efforts.


The successful Social Media Executive will strike a balance between publishing frequent outputs and maintaining consumer interest. They will be knowledgeable about the best posting times for each social media platform and have a keen eye for creating content that resonates with our audience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and supervise a team of social media specialists to ensure consistency and quality in our online presence.
  • Develop and implement a content strategy that showcases our brand's personality and values.
  • Collaborate with videographers and multimedia designers to create engaging visual content.
  • Optimize content for publication across various social media sites, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Schedule copy for release at optimal times to maximize engagement and reach.
  • Monitor user engagement and feedback on every post, using metrics such as likes, shares, and comments.
  • Analyze and report on the effectiveness of our social media efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain a secure database of all login credentials and ensure that our online presence is secure and compliant with industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve our online presence.


Ideal Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Degree in marketing, communication studies, journalism, creative writing, or a related field.
  • Experience as a social media executive or in a related role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Expert knowledge of leading social media platforms, including their algorithms and best practices.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite and its integrations.
  • Understanding of paid advertising and its role in social media marketing.
  • Ability to create engaging and persuasive content that resonates with our audience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different tone and style.
  • Knowledge of engagement metrics and the ability to analyze and report on social media performance.
  • Appreciation for innovative ideas and a willingness to think outside the box.
