About the Department

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) is a leading research department with a strong focus on aerospace engineering. We have a team of 30+ faculty members, 400+ undergraduate students, and 400+ postgraduate students. Our research expertise includes aeroacoustics, mechanics, materials, manufacturing, and energy technologies.

Job Summary

We are seeking outstanding candidates with a strong commitment to research and teaching in the field of Aerospace Engineering. The positions are open to all areas of Aerospace Engineering, including but not limited to:

  • Aerodynamics and aeroacoustics
  • Aerospace structures and materials
  • Air transport and operations
  • Autonomous systems and control
  • Electric and hydrogen propulsion
  • Intelligent transportation systems
  • Satellite communication and navigation
  • Sustainable aviation

Responsibilities

Applicants should have a PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or related fields, and a strong record of research and teaching excellence. The successful candidates will be expected to expand the teaching curriculum in Aerospace Engineering and establish an externally-funded research program. They will also contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
