About the DepartmentThe Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (MAE) comprises 30+ faculty members, 400+ undergraduate students, and 400+ postgraduate students. We possess world-leading expertise in aeroacoustics, mechanics, materials, manufacturing, and energy technologies.
Job DescriptionWe invite applications for faculty positions at all ranks (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) and are seeking outstanding candidates with a strong commitment to research and teaching in the field of Aerospace Engineering. The positions are open to all areas of Aerospace Engineering, including but not limited to:
- Aerodynamics and aeroacoustics
- Aerospace structures and materials
- Air transport and operations
- Autonomous systems and control
- Electric and hydrogen propulsion
- Intelligent transportation systems
- Satellite communication and navigation
- Sustainable aviation
Applicants should have a PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or related fields and a strong record of research and teaching excellence. In addition to research, the successful candidates will be expected to expand the teaching curriculum in Aerospace Engineering. As a faculty member, there will be the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and colleagues in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What We OfferCompetitive salaries commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Ample opportunities for professional growth and development are available. Fringe benefits including medical and dental benefits, annual leave, and housing benefits, where applicable, will be provided. Appointment as Professor will be on a substantive basis, while appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor will normally be on a three-year contract. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
