About the Segment

The Corporate Finance and Restructuring segment provides comprehensive support in turnaround and restructuring, transaction advisory services, and corporate recovery. Our practice has a reputation for taking on challenging assignments requiring exceptional strategic and technical capabilities.

Our team has over 30 years of global experience working on high-profile restructurings and insolvency cases, including Lehman Brothers and General Motors. Clients include major global financial institutions, private equity houses, city law firms, and corporates.

Job Description

  • Conduct industry and company research, focusing on upstream and downstream value chain analysis.
  • Assist senior staff in managing business operations and performance topics, including lean transformation, EBITDA improvement, commercial due diligence, operational review, and enhancement of supply chain management.
  • Perform business data analysis, operational procedures observation, and department personnel interviews to identify cost-saving potential along the business value chain.
  • Conduct on-site plant audits for operation due diligence, focusing on production, logistics, maintenance, quality, and warehouse assessment.
  • Relevant consulting or corporate experience in strategy, continuous improvement, procurement, sourcing, cost optimization, shopfloor management, organizational design, or workforce optimization.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, prepare projections, and assess business plans on client companies.
  • Reconstruct accounting records from incomplete information.
  • Perform financial, ratio, and comparable company analysis, prepare financial and cash flow modeling, and assist with forensic investigations when necessary.
  • Gain hands-on experience with new industries/clients to quickly assess opportunities for improvement and implement necessary preparation work under Project Manager's guidelines.
  • Complete assigned tasks independently, accurately, and on time with regular supervision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master's degree holder in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • 1-3 years of experience in production/supply chain management in Fortune 500 companies.
  • Obtained (or at the final stage of obtaining) APICS CPIM & CSCP, ISM CPSM, or internationally recognized professional accounting or finance qualification.
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive, and willing to embrace challenges.
  • A good team player with excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to complete multiple tasks in a timely manner under pressure.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a consulting environment focusing on procurement, lean production, performance improvement, or supply chain.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and high level of professionalism.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel when requested.
