The Senior Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO) for Group Projects is tasked with the oversight of the planning, execution, and successful delivery of all projects, particularly those that span multiple departments within the Operations sector. This position demands an experienced project manager with a comprehensive grasp of project management methodologies, substantial exposure to regional project management, robust leadership capabilities, and the proficiency to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates with experience in the life insurance sector will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary coordinator among the group office, various departments in Operations, and other stakeholders for the management and implementation of Group projects.
  • Support the Head of Operation Projects in establishing the Project Management Office (PMO) function within the Operations division, articulating the PMO's vision, mission, and objectives.
  • Design and execute project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to guarantee consistent project delivery and superior outcomes.
  • Conduct meticulous budget monitoring and reporting.
  • Collaborate with project directors, the IT department, and other stakeholders to align and prioritize project initiatives.
  • Deliver regular project status updates and presentations to senior leadership, emphasizing key milestones, risks, and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related discipline; a master's degree is advantageous.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry or financial institutions, with extensive knowledge of regional project management or implementation being a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and according to specified scope.
  • Strong leadership and personnel management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaborative tools.
