The Senior Manager, Project Management Office (PMO), Group Projects will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects, particularly those Group ones across multiple departments within the Operations function. This role requires a seasoned project manager with a deep understanding of project management methodologies, good exposure on regional project management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Candidates with life insurance exposures will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in coordinating group office, multiple departments in Operations, and other stakeholders for Group project management and implementation.
  • Assist the Head of Operation Projects to establish the Project Management Office (PMO) function within Operations division, defining the PMO's vision, mission, and goals.
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices to ensure consistent project delivery and high-quality outcomes.
  • Closely monitor and report on budgets.
  • Collaborate with project directors, IT department, and other stakeholders to align and agree on project priorities.
  • Provide regular project status reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry or financial institution, with extensive knowledge of regional project management or implementation.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and according to scope.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools.
