Business Planning and Budgeting Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to join ALL-STAR AGENCY as a Business Planning and Budgeting Manager in our Hong Kong office. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with extensive management accounting experience to oversee budget planning and control while maintaining regular communication with our Head Office in Tokyo.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the budget planning process, including conducting data analysis and preparing financial forecasts for the Hong Kong office.
- Oversee budget control activities to ensure compliance with financial targets and identify variances.
- Maintain frequent communication with Head Office departments in Tokyo, providing necessary reports and updates on financial performance and budgeting matters.
- Analyze financial data to facilitate informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Offer insights and recommendations to senior management regarding budget management and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with various departments to collect relevant information for accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements across all financial operations.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of management accounting processes and systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of management accounting experience in a banking or financial services environment; candidates with less experience may be considered for an Assistant Manager role.
- Proficiency in Japanese at N1 level is essential for effective communication with Head Office.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and experienced with financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
