We are seeking an experienced Talent Development Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality learning solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your expertise will help us develop tailored training programs that drive business outcomes and support the growth of our clients' organizations.Key Responsibilities
- Needs Assessment: Identify learning and development needs, employees' skills gaps, and future learning requirements.
- Training Design and Delivery: Provide professional advice on the right course of action and partner with business leaders to implement training plans, and deliver learning and development strategies.
- Training Partnerships: Consider learning options such as coaching, mentoring, on-the-job training, classroom training, e-learning, and simulation. Make recommendations to decision-makers.
- Logistics and Administration: Identify external training partners, and co-ordinate the logistics of training sessions.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly review the effectiveness of the training offerings delivered and propose any changes on the format/content of the training programs.
- Training Plans: Develop and implement training plans including timelines, budget, and facilitators.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing training budgets and forecast current and future costs.
- Relationship Building: Maintain a good relationship with local universities/academic institutions.
- Training Sponsorship: Administer the training sponsorship process.
- Reporting: Prepare reports to senior management for all key aspects of learning and development initiatives and results.
- Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest learning and development products and approaches and ensure all training initiatives are in accordance with best practice.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or relevant disciplines.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of Training and Development experience.
- Skills: Ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in engaging staff from different levels. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing.
- Language: Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin is a plus.
