Interfill Group is seeking a seasoned Compliance Director to lead the compliance department and drive all-rounded compliance duties, including regulatory and AML related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Global Head of Compliance, the Compliance Director will oversee a team of less than 3 members in the HK compliance department.
  • Providing all-rounded compliance duties, including but not limited to:
  • Ensuring compliance with HKMA rules and guidelines.
  • Implementing AML related policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with local AML/CFT regulations.
  • Transactions monitoring and sanctions screening.
  • Reviewing and enhancing the existing AML related policies and procedures to ensure a robust, current, and high-quality compliance control program for supporting the bank's business growth.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory and legislative changes and providing advice to enable the business to implement changes and operate in a compliant and controlled manner.
  • Assisting with transaction monitoring.
  • Providing ad-hoc support wherever necessary in all matters compliance.

Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in general/regulatory or AML compliance field within the banking industry.
  • Solid knowledge with HKMA regulations and guidelines.
  • Solid knowledge of AML/CFT regulations.
  • Strong communications in English.
  • Able to work in a small team, be a lead, and a team player.
