Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Trade Operations Specialist to join our team at DBS Bank. As a key member of our Technology and Operations department, you will play a critical role in enabling and empowering the bank with an efficient, nimble, and resilient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Trade Operations Team, focusing on Import invoice financing

• Perform supervisor and checker functions, including people management, system input and authorization, data and information verification, and document screening

• Provide advice and guidance to staff members on daily operations and problem resolution

• Escalate exceptions, problems, and errors to Team / Section Manager

• Suggest improvement opportunities to Team / Section Manager

• Cooperate with team members to achieve assigned tasks and achieve defined KPIs

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in trade-related banking operations

• Graduated with less experience

• Good spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and PC skills

• Strong sense of risk and fraud control

• Capable of working effectively under pressure and tight deadlines

• Good leadership and organizational skills

• Innovative and willing to accept new ideas and changes

• In-depth trade operations experience and knowledge of trade-related international rules, regulations, and practices
