About the Role

">

We are seeking an experienced Post Trade Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the orderly, fair, and expeditious clearing and settlement arrangements for securities, on-exchange derivatives, and OTC derivatives markets. You will also provide central securities depository, custody, and nominee services, as well as admission of stocks and structured products. Additionally, you will provide hotline and training services to investors and clearing participants.

    • Work with internal teams to implement process improvements and ensure proper internal controls are in place.">

    • Build relationships with local banks, brokers, exchanges, central security depositories, central banks, and regulators to enhance overall partnership and engagement.">
    • Collaborate with these stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth and development.">

    • Support and influence business transformation and enhancement by redefining business working models, policies, and operational flows.">

    • Lead post-trade related projects based on in-depth knowledge within post-trade areas.">
    • Guide internal stakeholders to understand market needs at each stage of the project cycle.">

    • Draft market engagement plans to support post-trade related initiatives and day-to-day issues.">
    • Publish market newsflashes on operational, regulatory, or other market changes that may impact internal and external parties.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A University Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.">
  • At least 7-10 years' experience in post-trade related products and services.">
  • Strong leadership and people management experience, including staff development and performance management.">
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.">
  • Self-motivated, driven, and entrepreneurial mindset to make things better.">
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.">
  • Confident, flexible, self-reliant, and a good team player.">
  • Excellent presentation and written/spoken English, Chinese, and Putonghua.">
  • Conversant with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, and VBA.">

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. This position is located in Hong Kong and requires standard 40-hour workweek with occasional overtime. HKEX provides a supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
