Cloud Business Development Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Business Development Manager to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our cloud business by developing and executing comprehensive business plans for a portfolio of cloud service providers and managed service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business plans to drive cloud business growth, identifying short and long-term strategic goals and tactical execution.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.
- Promote integrated solutions both internally to sales teams and externally with customers' needs.
- Frequent travel in APAC, including China, to meet with cloud service providers and managed service providers.
- Drive cloud-connectivity services sales performance with partners through regular reviews to review overall business performance across the organization in the Greater China Region.
- Guide partners to build cross-border solutions in their solution packages to develop business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop the cloud-connectivity business with other vendors, such as SDWAN, Security, and SaaS.
- Identify new technology solutions from the market and facilitate their adoption in the company.
- Organize joint events with partners, including cloud service providers, managed service providers, SDWAN, and Security, on a quarterly basis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Information Technology.
- 5-10+ years of experience in core sales, partner channel development, business development, and alliance management in the technology industry.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation business drivers, cloud platforms, capabilities, and solutions that generate partner growth and innovation.
- Experience with technology platforms and solutions, with a reasonable level of technical proficiency or working with cloud service providers and managed service providers on solution development architecture.
- Strong influence and orchestrator skills to help align and partner resources to drive solutions that support sales and customer needs.
- Deep strategic advisor and executive relationship management experience driving sales with partners in commercial businesses.
- Strong partner relationship management and solution development skills.
- Strong experience managing virtual teams across functions and geographies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a high degree of comfort.
- Superior analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
- Familiarity with cloud security services, such as Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto, is preferable.
- Passionate about cloud technology, especially in AWS, Ali Cloud, and Azure.
