The team has four key business areas: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy, and COO & Digital Transformation. Our international network and breadth of expertise enable us to support individuals, families, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs.
HSBC offers a range of mortgage solutions and services to help grow the Bank's lending business. As a Mortgage Service Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the end-to-end mortgage process and application referred by branch and mortgage outreach sales teams.
Main Responsibilities:- Spearhead the growth of the Bank's mortgage lending business by providing privileged mortgage solutions and services to customers, identifying their other banking needs, such as protection and financial products, and following up on mortgage application journeys.
- Communicate closely and timely with frontline teams on mortgage approval results and counter-offer to secure mortgage drawdowns, raising the Bank's mortgage penetration.
- Liaise with internal and external departments to ensure mortgage documents comply with Bank policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements, as well as service standards.
- Collaborate with various branch streams and outreach sales teams to fulfill customers' property and financial needs with the Bank, uplifting application-to-drawdown ratios.
- Knowledge of mortgage products and credit guidelines.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with teams and staff from frontline and internal departments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- A great sense of responsibility and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and quality customer service processes.
- Holders of relevant insurance and investment licenses, with ongoing compliance with Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements.
We offer a competitive salary for this position, estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
