About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AV Event Manager to join our team at Kinly. As an AV Event Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of on-site event services between Kinly and our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the event planning and execution process.
  • Event Planning and Execution
    • Oversee all aspects of event planning, including resource scheduling, crewing, technical briefing, and live event management.
    • Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Team Management
    • Directly manage a team of event technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality events.
    • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members to improve their performance.
  • Fault Reporting and Management
    • Ensure all faults are reported and escalated in accordance with contract SLAs.
    • Work with clients to resolve any issues that may arise during events.
  • Training and Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of event technicians.
    • Provide regular training and coaching to team members to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Administration
    • Manage client statistical data, including SLA performance, management information, and team performance.
    • Attend regular client meetings and maintain close contact with AV Operations Manager to ensure effective communication.
  • Events and Broadcasts
    • Attend all pre-event planning meetings and be responsible for resource scheduling, crewing, technical briefing, live event management, and post-event debrief.
    • Work with specialized production and facilities companies to provide events and broadcasts.
    • Maintain good communication channels with clients and provide them with regular updates on event progress.
  • General Duties
    • Advise clients on best practices and provide them with guidance on potential procedural and technical risks.
    • Share events knowledge and best practices across the entire AV team.
    • Work with Event Technicians and the AV Operations Manager to ensure all events are resourced effectively.
