Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audio/Visual (AV) Engineer to architect, deploy, and maintain our advanced AV systems. As technology plays a pivotal role in our operations, the evolution of our AV requirements is essential to our growth.

In this position, you will oversee all aspects of audio-visual systems, collaborative technologies, and teleconferencing solutions. This includes support for live events, video management, and digital display systems. A strong enthusiasm for AV technology and a proactive approach to resolving business challenges through research, testing, and implementation of these technologies is crucial.

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, requiring you to serve as a subject matter expert in AV system architecture. This includes maintaining and enhancing our current technologies as well as evaluating designs for new and upgraded environments. You will be expected to deliver outstanding technical support, whether during installations or while assisting end users directly. Our AV Engineers collaborate closely with the Technology and Infrastructure teams during expansion initiatives to ensure that the infrastructure requirements for each AV project are fulfilled, which includes developing timelines, scopes of work, and support protocols.

Candidate Profile
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Regularly assess conference room setups in collaboration with IT and other technical teams
  • Proficient in designing and supporting AV-intensive environments such as meeting rooms, educational spaces, auditoriums, and recreational areas
  • Skilled in the technical execution and support of corporate events
  • Dedicated to providing exceptional support during live events via collaboration platforms like Zoom, Webex, and other cloud-based conferencing tools
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, QSC, and Dante, along with Cisco video conferencing solutions
  • Understanding of networking principles including VLANs, subnetting, basic routing, and other network functionalities
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required
  • Fluency in English is essential
