Job Summary

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Officer/Officer, Specialist, Operations, Sec Svcs-Clrnc/Setlmnt/Invstgn, Private Banking to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring daily operations, ensuring quality services are delivered to customers, and performing trade checking and life cycle events monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with SLAs, Department Operation Manual, and regulatory requirements;
  • Perform trade checking, life cycle events monitoring, and settlement-related activities;
  • Assist supervisor in prioritizing processing jobs to achieve optimal operational efficiency;
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of periodical reports to management and services partners;
  • Assist supervisor in training staff and promoting a culture of excellence;
  • Understand and adhere to bank policies on information protection, security control, and regulatory compliance;
  • Provide support to daily transactions and monitor staff/vendor performance to ensure adherence to SLAs;
  • Handle internal/external customer complaints and ensure responsive problem-solving;
  • Provide periodic operational reports and management reports as required;
  • Perform checking and reconciliation of general ledgers and other system records;
  • Contribute to process improvements and suggest ways to enhance efficiency and quality of services;

Requirements
  • University graduate;
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in banking operations, particularly in structured investment products, notes, and bonds;
  • Experience in project management;
  • Knowledge of Private and Consumer banking practices and procedures;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Strong risk awareness and ability to work in a team environment;
  • Hardworking and willing to accept suggestions and comments;
  • Ownership of results and commitment to personal goals;
  • Knowledge of consumer banking operations and backend operations of structured investment products, notes, and bonds;
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
