Customer Engagement
- Builds and nurtures relationships with clients, employing Microsoft sales methodologies to engage with high-level decision-makers across the organization. Facilitates connections between clients and Microsoft executives, establishing a regular cadence to showcase the value of Microsoft solutions and their associated Return on Investment (ROI). Collaborates with partners to foster trust and loyalty across various levels of the client's organization.
- Develops a thorough understanding of each client's business and technological requirements, identifying opportunities for optimization and innovative solutions that align with their strategic goals. Advocates for client needs internally to ensure their priorities are addressed.
- Drives business transformation through technology across multiple client divisions, leveraging insightful listening skills to present innovative ideas that challenge existing mindsets and promote strategic change. Engages corporate resources to facilitate client transformation and mitigate competitive risks.
Account Management
- Creates and manages comprehensive account plans using established sales methodologies, ensuring that engagements lead to significant sales outcomes for both Microsoft and the client. Coordinates with diverse teams and industry experts to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
- Strategically plans for client accounts, setting priorities and resource allocations while engaging decision-makers in long-term business planning. Ensures documentation of strategies in the Account Plan.
- Oversees multiple accounts, leading planning efforts to anticipate client needs and develop strategies for managing sales pipelines. Adjusts priorities as necessary while maintaining accountability.
- Expands networks of internal and external partners to enhance sales and provide a seamless account management experience. Engages with key partners to promote mutually beneficial business strategies.
Sales Excellence
- Actively seeks and analyzes client feedback to understand satisfaction drivers, helping to create long-term strategies for maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Works collaboratively to anticipate issues and establish recovery plans as needed.
- Positions oneself as a trusted advisor to executive-level decision-makers, leveraging communication techniques to build strong relationships and document key stakeholders in the account plan.
- Engages with decision-makers to clearly communicate Microsoft's value proposition in relation to their business objectives, translating features into impactful outcomes.
- Develops compelling presentations and business plans that drive client outcomes, demonstrating thought leadership and guiding others in tailoring industry-specific strategies.
- Implements plans to maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities, highlighting Microsoft and partner solutions to address additional business challenges.
Industry Knowledge
- Exhibits in-depth knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscapes, positioning Microsoft solutions within the industry context to drive innovation and transformation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a relevant industry or a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or a related field with 5+ years of experience.
- 5+ years of account management experience or equivalent.
