About the Role
We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for overseeing daily accounting functions, including banking and treasury activities. Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records is also a key aspect of this role, as is maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Accounting Operations: Oversee daily accounting functions, including banking and treasury activities.
- Accuracy of Records: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, including the verification and review of vouchers, while maintaining organized and up-to-date records.
- Month-End Closing: Assist with month-end closing processes, including obtaining online approvals and preparing supporting documentation.
- Daily Financial Operations: Manage daily financial tasks such as payments, expenses, and contract reviews.
- Team Collaboration: Work in an Accounting team of 8 members.
- Education: Tertiary education in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required.
- Experience: 3+ years accounting experience is preferred, with experience in a listed company or sizeable audit firm being an advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is essential.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English, Mandarin, and Chinese is required.
