  • Growth Strategy: Identifying and executing a prioritized set of growth initiatives to help clients realize their growth objectives.
  • Operational Strategy & Cost Management: Evaluating strategic decisions and aligning operational models with business strategies and financial goals.
  • Digital Strategy: Exploring new opportunities presented by emerging technologies and assessing readiness for change.
  • ESG Strategy: Assisting organizations in establishing and achieving ESG objectives, embedding ESG into their core operations, and leveraging it as a competitive advantage.
  • Enterprise-Wide Transformation: Offering a comprehensive framework for long-term strategic planning, capital allocation, portfolio assessments, scenario planning, and corporate redesigns.
KPMG seeks a dedicated and experienced Management Consultant with a proven track record in enhancing operational effectiveness and efficiency. Our Strategy and Operations Practice is focused on translating strategy into tangible business outcomes for our clients.

We collaborate with premier global and local organizations on a variety of topics spanning from 'Strategy-to-Results', including strategy formulation, operational improvements, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate hypotheses and lead the storyboarding process, designing and implementing new operational models for clients.
  • Support transformation initiatives, including project management, process evaluation, and design implementation.
  • Lead and/or assist in comprehensive process optimization projects, advising clients on continuous improvement and cost-saving strategies.
  • Analyze how productivity influences profitability; track productivity metrics across the region and provide insights; commit to enhancing efficiency and productivity at all levels while maintaining quality.
  • Maintain an analytical mindset to offer insights through improved reporting and analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Conduct business requirement analysis, translating business and customer needs into optimal practices for people, processes, technology, and operational design.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork capabilities.
Experience & Background
  • Degree from a reputable institution.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm focusing on operational excellence, business process enhancement, cost optimization, or relevant consulting experience.
  • Project management and program delivery experience in operational improvement projects (redesigning operational models, implementing solutions, managing operations, cost transformation).
  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Senior Consultant role.
  • Lean Six Sigma or relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Experience with Financial Services clients is preferred.
  • Analytical mindset, intellectual curiosity, structured thinking, and creativity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ambition, and practicality.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with a strong commitment to client delivery.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.
