The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority is committed to excellence in collections management. We seek a seasoned professional to assume the role of Senior Manager, Collections Information, who will lead our collections documentation efforts and drive innovation in our TMS system.
In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing the Museum's collections documentation delivered by the TMS system, ensuring accurate and accessible collection data. Your expertise will be invaluable in guiding the development of effective database tools and workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Key Accountabilities:
- Manage and enhance all aspects of the TMS system for optimal performance and user experience.
- Develop and implement customised database tools and workflows to support various museum activities.
- Lead collection information projects, focusing on data delivery to the web, in collaboration with the Digital team.
- Design reports for statistical analysis of collections information, activities, and data integrity.
- Oversee the training program for museum staff, continually evaluating its effectiveness and developing new courses as needed.
- Collaborate with Collection Curators, Registrars, Conservation, and Archives & Library teams to agree on and maintain cataloguing standards.
