Job Title: Senior Procurement Manager, E&M

Job Summary:

Aurex Group is seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead the procurement process for our Data Centre projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, from RFI/Q to Contract Executions, and working closely with the Project and Construction teams to provide market insights and accurate estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a local subcontractors and vendor pre-qualification database, building strong relationships with key suppliers.
  • Provide accurate cost estimations to the Business Development Team.
  • Coordinate one or more internal project teams/projects.
  • Define the project procurement strategy with project stakeholders.
  • Manage Frame Agreements call-off and RFIs/RFQs.
  • Place and process purchasing transactions according to agreed terms.
  • Monitor all equipment purchases to ensure purchase order information matches the shipment and confirm subcontractor compliance and meets project requirements.
  • Ensure that project costs are properly categorized and that a feedback loop mechanism is in place to compare and adjust estimating costs vs. actual project costs, including production rates and cost of materials.
  • Support teams on supplier escalations with technical disputed items, schedule, revenue-risk, and on-going support services.
  • Continuously update internal procurement data base platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management/Engineering or a related field.
  • Around 15 years of experience in Vendor Management, Procurement Strategic Planning, Contract.
  • Relevant experience in procurement and subcontracting in a similar position.
  • Experience in the Data Centre industry is an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering materials, MEP equipment, and services commonly used in the data centre industry and/or major capital projects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in managing procurement documentation, contracts, and financial transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
