Job Title: Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager

Cathay Pacific Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Centre of Excellence Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for driving procurement excellence, enhancing efficiency and compliance, and ensuring data accuracy in the source-to-pay process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute technology and data management strategies to drive procurement excellence and enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Work closely with the Technology/Digital team to deliver system capabilities and tools that support business needs.
  • Provide internal subject matter expertise on e-procurement technologies to improve system adoption, performance, and reliability.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot e-procurement technologies.
  • Manage user access and permissions.
  • Monitor system performance against business case.
  • Keep management updated on industry trends and best practices to develop and implement strategies for platform growth and improvement.
  • Work with the change management team to develop training content.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder in Procurement, IT, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in developing and implementing technology in a procurement context.
  • Solid knowledge of e-procurement platforms and their capabilities.
  • Good understanding of procurement fundamentals and the procurement lifecycle.
  • Good understanding of user experience design principles to enhance platform usability.
  • Understanding of IT systems and their integration with e-procurement platforms.
  • Ability to utilize reporting and analytics tools within the platform along with user feedback to drive insights for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of master data management principles and best practices.
  • Ability to develop and implement data quality metrics, monitor data quality, and lead efforts to resolve data quality issues.
  • Hands-on experience in master data management.
  • Experience in integrating data from multiple sources into a unified view.
  • Understanding of data governance frameworks and standards.
  • Experience in acting as a data steward to develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement in MDM processes and standards.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills, especially to management and other diverse stakeholders.
  • Good stakeholder management and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Self-starter with a 'can do' attitude, attention to detail, and ability to drive results independently.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
