Job Title: HR GeneralistAbout the Job

This exciting opportunity is available at one of our esteemed clients, a Japanese second-hand store set to open its first location in Hong Kong. The company offers a unique blend of fashion and lifestyle products, providing an engaging work environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Management
  • Oversee monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate calculations by refining procedures.
  • Coordinate bonus payments in consultation with the General Manager.
  • Manage income tax, social insurance calculations, declarations, payments, and create statutory documents.
Labor Management
  • Optimize attendance management systems and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Resolve labor-related issues and implement preventive measures.
Benefits Management
  • Provide data for social insurance and employee benefits programs.
  • Analyze and propose improvements to the benefits system.
  • Troubleshoot employee inquiries related to benefits.
Labor Relations
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, including the Labor Standards Act.
  • Administer and update company policies such as work rules and labor condition notices.
  • Address internal employee labor-related inquiries and complaints.
Vendor Management
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance services with external vendors.
  • Supervise vendor work and manage communication and coordination.
  • Track progress and monitor quality control.
Irregular Situations
  • Respond to labor issues with initial action and internal/external coordination.
  • Ensure employee safety during natural disasters or accidents.
  • Establish emergency response procedures.
Document and Data Management
  • Store employment contracts, attendance data, payroll records, and benefits-related documents.
  • Analyze employee attendance, overtime, and turnover rates.
  • Generate reports to propose improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Higher Diploma or above.
  • At least 1 year of relevant working experience.
  • Fluency in Cantonese, Mandarin, English, and Japanese (N2 level or higher).
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • More experience may be considered for Assistant Manager or Manager roles.
Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of HKD $45,000 - $60,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include:

  • Average annual leave: 7 days after probation, increasing to 10 days from the second year.
  • Paid sick leave: 10 days, requiring a medical certificate and completed 3-month probation period.
  • Medical insurance: Provided.
  • Yearly body check: Conducted annually.
  • Birthday leave: 1 day within the birthday month.
  • Marriage leave: 2 days.
  • Bereavement leave: 2 days.
  • OT Allowance: Calculated on a per-minute basis.
  • Discretionary bonus: Two times a year.
