About Your Employer

A HK mainboard listed PRC real estate development and investment company is undergoing debt restructuring. They seek an experienced Senior Financial Operations Manager to support their financial operations and compliance, reporting directly to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, treasury management, and cash flow forecasting.
  • Collaborating with the due diligence financial work during debt restructuring and participating in related matters.
  • Assisting in interim and annual financial report preparation, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting and statutory reporting requirements, handling local tax filing matters.
  • Liaising with external parties (lawyers, auditors, bankers, professionals) on financial and compliance matters.
  • Working closely with the secretarial team and supporting Finance Manager in strategic decision-making.
  • Supporting finance team professional development and ad-hoc business assignments/projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPAA) required.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with 3 years in a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Experience with listed companies and PRC property developers, especially in the residential sector, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Yongyou accounting software is beneficial.
  • Strong financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork.
  • Fluent in written and oral English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to solve complex problems independently.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is around HKD 900,000 - HKD 1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
