As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and developing the Kitchen team within their Section. You will work closely with the senior team to ensure that all dishes are prepared, cooked, and presented to an excellent standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Kitchen team to achieve operational excellence and deliver high-quality dishes.
  • Work with the senior team to ensure that all legislative requirements are met, including health and safety, food safety, and temperature checks.
  • Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the skills of the Kitchen team.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all stock is stored at the correct temperatures and is in date.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant team to ensure a seamless partnership between front and back of house.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure that all menu items are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is PAT tested and safe to use.
  • Work with the Health and Safety executive to maintain a 5-star rating.
  • Develop and implement effective processes to ensure that all food is delivered to the highest standard.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.

Requirements:

  • A current Sous / Senior Sous Chef in a quality establishment.
  • Passionate about fresh and seasonal food.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • Maintaining Food Safety standards.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office.
  • International Experience is a bonus.
